About The Tour
Departing from Carrick On Shannon we head along the scenic wild Atlantic way to discover how Ulster played a part in the signing of the American Declaration Of Independence with a visit to Grey's Printers in Strabane to see the 18th century printing press and learn the story of John Dunlap Strabane's famous printer.
You then depart for your next stop but not before meeting the famous "Tinny Family" of Strabane. We stop in the village of Sion Mills for free tea & coffee at 1861 the Old stables of the Herdman family. Then its a visit the Ulster American Folk Park to explore over 30 exhibits on how the Irish changed America.
